Bangalore – Mysore
On arrival at the airport / railway station in Bengaluru, Check in to your hotel, en route visit spectacular fortress of Srirangapatna, the former capital of two of south India's most powerful 18th century rulers, Haider Ali and his son Tipu Sultan. The fort was besieged and stormed by the British in 1782 and again in 1799. Other attractions include Tipu's beautifully painted summer palace and Gumbaz, the family mausoleum.Later, proceed to the hotel and check in.
In the evening, visit the Brindavan Gardens, one of the most sought-after attractions in Mysore for its terrace gardens, extensive flora and musical fountains. These gardens have been featured in numerous Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam films.The main attraction of Brindavan Gardens is its illuminated musical fountain, the water and lights of which are synchronised to the rhythmic beats of Indian music.

Day 2
Mysore
This morning after breakfast, embark on an excursion to Somnathpur which is well known for the breathtaking Prasanna Chennakesava Temple, one of the three famous and finest representations of Hoysala architecture. This is one of the three Hoysala temples nominated for UNESCO World Heritage Site status.
In the afternoon, visit the famous Mysore Palace, which is a historical monument located in the city of Mysore facing the Chamundi Hills eastwards. It was the authorized residence and seat of the Maharajas of Mysore who ruled the region between the 14th and the 20th century. This Palace houses a number of hidden tunnels leading from the cellar to other palaces and confidential areas in Srirangapatna. The palace is a three-stone structure with marble domes. Its entrance displays the emblem and coat of arms of the Mysore Kingdom. It is the venue for the famous Mysore Dasara Festival held every year on the day of Vijaya Dashmi, featuring stage performances by leading artists and elephant parades.

Day 3
Mysore- Ooty
Today, your picturesque journey continues into the blue Nilgiri Hills, as you drive through the steep hills covered with lush green tea and coffee plantations.. En route visit the Chamundeshwari Temple, situated on the hill in the outskirts of Mysore.
Named after the Goddess Chamunda, the Chamundi hills are a prestigious landmark in the city of Mysore. Earlier known as Mahabalachala, the hill was renamed as the Chamundi hills in respect for the Goddess Chamunda. Legend has it that the Goddess had slain the demon Mahishasur. The temple has a very beautiful idol of the goddess wearing a garland of skulls.On arrival, check in to the hotel.

Day 4
Ooty
This morning, enjoy a tour of the 'Queen of the Blue Mountains'.Visit the Dodabetta Peak, the highest peak in the Nilgiris and South India and one of the most mesmerising attraction near Ooty, enveloped by an impressive landscape and majestic mountain ranges.
Further, visit Botanical Garden, one of the famous attractions of Ooty. The garden features thousands of species of plants, shrubs, ferns, trees, herbal plants etc.
Thereafter, visit the Rose Garden or Centenary Rose Park which is situated in the heart of Ooty town. It is the largest Rose Garden in India laid out to commemorate the centenary Flower Show in Government Botanical Gardens. The garden has the largest collections of roses in the country, around 2241 varieties like Hybrid Tea Roses, miniature rose, Floribunda, Ramblers, roses of unusual colours like black, green and many more varieties that will captivate your senses.
Continue to the Art Gallery which displays various artefacts of tribal people, among which are sculptures and artworks from Toda tribe and objects detailing the ecological features of the region. The Art Gallery was set up in 1989, with an aim to familiarize people about the Tribal lifestyle and culture of the native Toda Tribe. Also visit the Ooty Lake, an artificial lake situated in the heart of the city making it an ideal place for families.
Later, drive to Coonoor and visit Sims Park that houses naturally occurring flora as well as trees from around the world. Also, visit the Dolphin's Nose Point, an enormous rock formation that resembles a dolphin's nose.

Day 5
Ooty - Kodaikanal
Today, your picturesque journey continues through the Palani Hills to another scenic hill-station- Kodaikanal. On arrival, check in to the hotel.

Day 6
Kodaikanal
This morning after breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Kodaikanal, which includes a visit to Pillar Rocks, Coaker's Walk and the magnificent Bear Shola Falls.
Visit the Pillar Rocks, which is a set of three granite pillars standing close to each other at an elevation of 121.9 metres from the ground. Situated at a distance of about 8 kilometres from the Kodaikanal Lake, this site attracts tourists owing to its serene atmosphere and magnificent views.
Continue to the Bear Shola Falls, a major scenic attraction in Kodaikanal and it is called so, because in earlier days bears used to come and drink water from this fall.
Later, visit Coaker's Walk, a narrow pedestrian trail which is credited to Lt. Coaker. From here, one can enjoy a trek to the Pillar Rocks to enjoy scenic views. This area is popular with both solo travellers and honeymooning couples who want to soak in breathtaking scenery.
In the afternoon, spend some time in Bryant Park - one of the most colourful attractions of Kodaikanal. The park was established by a British forest officer by the name H. D. in the year 1908. Bryant Park, seen on the eastern side of the lake, is a mini botanical garden spread across 20 acres of area. The glasshouse in the park contains wide varieties of flowers, ferns and other ornamental plants.

Kodaikanal – Coimbatore
After breakfast you will be transferred from hotel in Kodaikanal to the airport / railway station in Coimbatore for your onward journey.
